We are Skinstra – Skins Trading International.
Skinstra International is a company that produces and promotes the international business and trading of Portuguese raw skins.
Skinstra builds up on the vast knowledge and experience of several generations of Portuguese skin traders and leather companies from Seia, São João da Madeira, Alcanena and other locations around the country, since the late 19th century.
Our experienced, dedicated and innovative team has developed and improved skin treatment processes and has also implemented very positive changes in the most traditional methods in our trade. In turn this has lead us to achieve important improvements on the quality of our final products.
After consolidation of our business in the Portuguese market, Skinstra is embracing international trade of our products and has adjusted its operations in order to face specific needs of expanding foreign markets. To achieve this goal, we have supported ourselves with local partners which, since the 1970s, have conducted international business with markets such as India, Pakistan, China and others countries.
